BUSINESS
This is an activity to maintain stable performance of data centers and solar power plants, extend their lifespan as much as possible.
Data Center O&M

As we enter the era of cloud computing, big data, and the Internet of Things (IoT), the demand for data centers is increasing.
These data centers require power for many essential functions, including server operation, cooling systems, storage systems, network equipment, backup systems, security systems, lighting, etc., making stable power supply very important.
Therefore, data centers that must process, store, and manage enormous amounts of data require thorough operation and maintenance (O&M) to ensure that they can run without interruption.
O&M Service
CX Solution provides operation and maintenance of electrical systems to help data centers operate reliably and efficiently.
Electrical System Maintenance
-
1. Uninterruptible Power Supply System
The system provides emergency power when the mains fail, typically lasting several minutes until the generator starts. Unlike auxiliary or emergency power systems, a UPS provides immediate protection from power outages by supplying energy stored in batteries(lead–acid battery or lithium series) to the load.
-
2. Power Distribution Unit
PDUs distribute power to various components within a data center.
Multiple PDUs are used to provide redundancy and ensure uninterrupted power supply to servers and other equipment, mitigating the impact of a single PDU failure. -
3. Backup generator
Backup generators, typically powered by diesel fuel, help keep data centers operating during extended power outages. Maintenance tasks include checking fuel levels, checking the condition of mechanical parts, and performing load tests to ensure the generators can meet the data center's power demands for several hours at a time.
-
4. Transformer
We'll watch out for signs of overheating, check oil levels in oil-filled transformers and ensure insulation is still effective.
-
5. Switchgear
Maintenance activities include inspecting circuit breakers, isolators, and relays.
We carry out regular checks on the effectiveness of electrical insulation -
6. Switchboard
Regular maintenance consists of inspecting electrical connections, testing circuit breakers, performing visual and mechanical inspections for signs of wear and tear, and cleaning to remove dust and debris.
Services provided in relation to O&M
-
1. Services provided in relation to O&M
The main components of a solar power plant include inverters, solar panels, racks, and cables.
They all require regular maintenance and must be able to be replaced or repaired as needed. -
2. Equipment Replacement
Some equipment may need to be replaced to maintain plant performance.
For example, inverters typically have a lifespan of 10-15 years, so they may need to be replaced more than once during the life of a solar farm. -
3. Performance Monitoring and Optimization
O&M companies monitor the overall performance of the power plant and take necessary actions to optimize system performance.
This may include cleaning the solar panels, adjusting their angle for better performance, etc. -
4. Safety Management
Solar power plants are power facilities and require management to prevent safety accidents. This includes safety training, developing an incident plan, and providing the necessary protective equipment.
